23 were killed, 55 injured in natural and man-made accidents
Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Emergency Situations has made public the statistics of emergency cases happened in the republic in the first quarter of 2014.
The ministry told APA that 16 explosions happened in the republic in the first quarter of 2014. It is up by 4 facts or 33% compared to the relevant period of 2013. 5 were killed, 26 injured in the explosions.
2064 visits were made in connection with fire accidents happened in the reporting period. 16 were killed, 28 injured in fire accidents. The fatality rate decreased by 5 facts, or 24%, injury rate by 5 fact or 22% compared to the relevant period of 2013.
23 were killed, 55 injured and 7 rescued in 624 natural and man-made accidents happened in the reporting period.
