Azerbaijan is developing a new model of targeted social assistance, chairman of the parliamentary Committee on labor and social policy Hadi Rajabli said on Jan. 28.
According to him, the new model will be considered once again at the parliament and an appropriate decision will then be taken.
Rajabli said the model of targeted social assistance opted for Azerbaijan is based on the Polish law.
“We have at times made amendments to the law in this regard. While up to 10 documents used to be required before, now the number of those documents are reduced, and [the frequency of] reviewing documents has changed from once a year to every two years. The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection is in constant search and is now thinking of carrying out new reforms in this area,” he added.
