The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) and Russia’s Transneft have signed a new contract.
SOCAR told APA-Economics that after long talks to resume oil delivery through Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline, SOCAR and Transneft signed a new contract basing on mutually beneficial commercial conditions.
“Resumed oil delivery through Russia will increase diversification of export routes of Azerbaijani oil,” says the official statement issued by SOCAR.
