Employees of the Finnish Broadcasting Company (YLE) are on a creative business trip to Azerbaijan.
The Defense Ministry told APA that YLE employees Vesa Toijonen and Ivar Heinmaa are on a trip to the front line to prepare a new documentary on Azerbaijan. During the trip, they have seen the war-torn residential areas with their own eyes and met with local people, refugees and servicemen.
The Finnish visitors, who are the authors of many documentaries on Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq, Chechnya, Ukraine and other hot spots of the world, have been trying to reveal to the world the truth about Azerbaijan. In their previous films, they had provided much coverage about oil and gas issues and problems of the refugees. In the next film, they’re planning to reveal the realities of the front line areas to the world community.
While filming at the grave of a martyr in the rural cemetery of the Gapanli village, Terter District, the guests witnessed another violation of the ceasefire regime by the Armenian Armed Forces.
Head of the documentary program at the Finnish Broadcasting Company Vesa Toijonen, who expressed her gratitude to the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry for creating favorable conditions for the filming, and cameraman Ivar Heinmaa both left the front line with good impressions, with the wishes of filming the lands in their next visit after they’re liberated from the Armenians invaders.
