Armenian armed forces violated the ceasefire with Azerbaijan 130 times in various directions of the contact line of Azerbaijani and Armenian troops in one day, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said on March 28.
Armenian military used heavy machine guns to shell Azerbaijani positions.
Armenian armed units stationed in the Barekamavan, Shavarshavan, Voskevan villages of Armenia’s Noyemberyan district and the Berkaber village of the Ijevan district fired at the positions of Azerbaijani armed forces located in the Gaymagli, Gushchu Ayrim, Gizilhajili villages of the Gazakh district.
Azerbaijani positions located on nameless heights and in the village ofAghdam of Tovuz district came under fire from Armenian positions located in the village of Chinari of Berd district.
Azerbaijani positions located on nameless heights of the Gadabay district also underwent fire from Armenian positions located on nameless heights of the Krasnoselsk district.
Another ceasefire violation came from the positions located near the Gulustan village of the Goranboy, the Chilaburt, Goyarkh, Yarimja villages of the Terter district, the Shikhlar, Javahirli, Kengerli, Sarijali, Novruzlu, Marzili, Garagashli, Shuraabad, Yusifjanli villages of the Aghdam district, the Kuropatkino village of the Khojavend district, the Garakhanbeyli, Horadiz, Gorgan, Ashagi Seyidahmedli villages of the Fuzuli district, the Mehdili village of the Jabrayil district and nameless uplands of the Goygol, Goranboy, Khojavand, Fuzuli and Jabrayil districts.
In consideration of the operational situation, Azerbaijani armed forces inflicted 131 strikes on Armenian positions.
