Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has today received Russian ambassador to Azerbaijan Vasili Istratov.
Press Service of the Ministry told APA that V. Istratov presented the Russia’s response note regarding the note 5/10-080/04/09 of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan dated on January 15, 2009, stating the Defense Ministry of Russia gave or sold $800 million arms and ammunitions to Armenia armed forces.
The note says that Defense Ministry of Russia did not give any arms and ammunitions to Armenia in 2008.
