Another group of engineering-technical staff of the Turkish Air Force have arrived in Azerbaijan to participate in the joint TurAz Falcon 2015 exercises of the Azerbaijani and Turkish air forces, the Defense Ministry said.
Selection of staff, planning of the exercises and other organizational work are underway so as to prepare for the active phase of the joint exercises.
More than 30 means of aviation of the Azerbaijani and Turkish air forces as well as MiQ-29, F-16 fighters jets, Su-25 strike assault, F-4E bomber, C-130 Hercules military transport planes, Mi-35 combat, Mi-17 and Sikorski UH-60 combat transport, Cougar AS532 search and rescue helicopters will be involved in the exercises.
The exercises will last until September 18.
