Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov on the sidelines of OSCE 21st Ministerial Council in Basel had a meeting with the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs Igor Popov, James Warlick and Pierre Andrieu and Andrzej Kasprzyk, Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, said the Foreign Ministry, APA’s correspondent reports from Switzerland.
At the meeting the discussions were held around the negotiation process toward the settlement of Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and the plans and proposals of OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs in this regard for the following year, APA’s correspondent reports from Basel.
Minister Elmar Mammadyarov reiterating the position of Azerbaijan with regard to the settlement of conflict stressed that for the resolution of the conflict, first and foremost, the armed forces of Armenia must be withdrawn from the occupied territories of Azerbaijan.
