“Ukraine crisis showed that the weak point of EU is provision of energy carriers”, said the EU Commissioner for Climate Change and Energy Miguel Arias Cañete, APA reports quoting ITAR-TASS.
“The weakest among the EU countries for enery security are Baltic states adn Eastern European countries. Therefore, energy sources carrier and route diversification are important. Construction of Southern Gas Corridor is a priority project for Europe”, the EU commissioner said.
