Armenian armed forces violated ceasefire 3588 times during ten months of 2014, excluding the fire-fights that took place along the front line in early August
The Armenian Armed Forces violated ceasefire with Azerbaijan 253 times on frontline in October. According to the results of the APA’s monitoring based on the reports confirmed by the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry, the Azerbaijani Army lost a serviceman as a result of the ceasefire violations.
Last month an Azerbaijani citizen was injured after hitting a mine on the front line.
The ceasefire was violated 69 times in Fuzuli, 52 times in Aghdam, 37 times in Khojavand, 27 times in Goranboy, 21 times in Terter, 16 times in Jabrayil and once in Goygol region in October.
On the Armenia-Azerbaijan borders, the ceasefire was violated 21 times in Tovuz and 9 times in Gazakh region.
Totally, the Armenian armed forces violated ceasefire 3588 times during ten months of 2014, excluding the fire-fights that took place along the front line in early August: (1543 times in January, 258 times in February, 229 times in March, 212 times in April, 260 times in May, 344 times in June, 414 times in July, 332 times in August, 103 times in September and 253 times in October). Fire-fights intensified on the contact line of Azerbaijani and Armenian troops in the end of July to early August.
