Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ogtay Asadov has met Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov as part of his visit to Kyiv.
During the meeting, they discussed how to intensify the bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
Turchynov said he gave relevant instruction to the Secretariat of the Verkhovna Rada on preparing a meeting within the GUAM.
Asadov noted Ukraine has always been a reliable partner for Azerbaijan.
The Azerbaijani Speaker expressed confidence that the cooperation potential between the two countries would continue to develop even further.
Asadov also wished Ukraine successes and peace.
Azerbaijani Ambassador to Ukraine Eynulla Madatli and MP Chingiz Asadullayev were present at the meeting.
