Appropriate measures have been taken in order to eliminate the consequences of the earthquake occurred in the country’s north-western region in May 2012. 305 private houses have been built and inaugurated this year.
Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel General Kemaleddin Heydarov said today at the event held on the 9th anniversary of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Heydarov said that totally 5282 houses, 3999 of them in Zagatala, 548 in Gakh and 735 in Balakan, as well as, 37 300-seat school buildings, 22 of them in Zagatala, 10 in Gakh, 2 in Balakan and 3 in Shaki, two 135-seat kindergartens were built and opened, 430-pupil school building was reconstructed. 4 private houses were built for 6 families in Zagatala.
26 private houses were built for the citizens, whose houses were damaged as a result of the floods in the Kur and Araz rivers.
Construction materials were sent to Dashkasan, Aghjabedi, Aghdash, Zagatala, Balakan, Goychay, Gabala districts and Ganja city for soonest elimination of the damages caused by strong winds and other natural disasters during the year.
