Today is the International Protection Day of Children. The suggestions concerning the promotion of children`s rights have been put forward in the international conference of women organized by the Head Assembly of UN in June 1, 1950 and in that conference it has been decided to dedicate the first of June to the protection of children. Hereafter, the day got into the history as an international protection day of children. This day is also celebrated in Azerbaijan as it is done in many countries.
