“OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs issued a statement in Basel. As you know, the U.S. is one of the co-chair countries of the OSCE Minsk Group, and the joint statement reflects the U.S. position as well,” said U.S. Charge d’Affaires in Azerbaijan Dereck Hogan, APA reports.
Hogan said that they are disappointed and concerned over the stagnation in the peace talks: “We call on both sides to support the peace process.”
The diplomat said the co-chairs are following what happens in the region, and their next visit depends on the governments of Azerbaijan and Armenia. “The governments will fix a date for their visit.”
