Azerbaijani MPs to attend meetings of PACE Monitoring Committee, Standing Committee and Bureau

Paris will host the meeting of the Monitoring Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) on November 14, and Brussels will host the meetings of the PACE Standing Committee and Bureau on November 17-18.

 

Chairman of the parliament’s Committee on Foreign and Interparliamentary relations, Head of the Azerbaijani delegation to the PACE Samad Seyidov and MP Elkhan Suleymanov will participate in the meetings, the parliament told APA.

 

During the events, the participants will exchange views on post-monitoring dialogue with Monaco, results of the latest parliamentary elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Tunisia, Moldova, and Ukraine, and other issues.

 

The visit will come to an end on November 19.

 

MP Sevinj Fataliyeva will take part in the meeting of the Committee of Experts on the Council of Europe Strategy for the Rights of the Child which is due to take place on November 13 in Strasbourg.

 

During the events, the current status of the implementation of the CoE strategy for children’s rights and preparatory works for the next strategy will be discussed.

 

The visit will end on November 14.
