The 4th Global Forum, organized by Nizami Ganjavi International Center with the support of State Committee on Work with Diaspora in the framework of cooperation with the Inter-Action Council, Club of Madrid, Library of Alexandria, Club of Rome, World Academy of Art and Science has today kicked off in Baku.
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev is attending the forum, APA reports.
Presidents of Albania, Montenegro, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, as well as 300 representatives from 53 countries, including 27 former presidents and 23 former prime ministers are attending the forum. The forum titled “Towards a multipolar world” will discuss a number of important issues such as the role of interfaith dialogue in the solution of the world’s most pressing challenges and conflicts, migration, multiculturalism and integration issues, the role of radicalization and migratory factors in ensuring global security, future prospects of energy and global management.

This is the fourth meeting, organized by Nizami Ganjavi International Center under support of the State Committee for Work with Diaspora. The first forum (South Caucasus Forum) on “Promoting Women’s Empowerment and Building Shared Societies in Azerbaijan” was held on May 5-8, 2013 and attended by 142 representatives from 29 countries. The second Open Society Forum on “Shared Societies and the Post-2015 Development Agenda” was held on April 27-29, 2014 and attended by 165 representatives from 42 countries. The 3rd Global Baku Forum on “Restoration of confidence in the new world order” was held on April 28-29, 2015 and attended by 350 representatives from 72 countries.
