Signing ceremony of documents between Azerbaijan and Belarus took place Nov.28 in Minsk following the expanded meeting of the presidents of the two countries.
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko have signed the Joint Declaration.
First Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Yagub Eyyubov and Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Vladimir Semashko have signed an agreement on social and economic cooperation between Belarus and Azerbaijan until 2025.
The document is aimed at further strengthening and diversification of trade and economic relations based on mutual interests, as well as improving the quality of life of the population of the two countries.
A program of socio-economic cooperation between Belarus and Azerbaijan until 2025 has been also signed Nov.28.
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov and Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Belarus Marianna Shchetkina have signed a protocol on cooperation between the State Social Protection Fund of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Belarus in the sphere of compulsory state social insurance.
President of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan Akif Alizadeh and Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Vladimir Gusakov have signed an agreement on cooperation between the Science Development Fund under the President of Azerbaijan and the Belarusian Republican Foundation for Fundamental Research.
After the signing ceremony, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko together made statements for the press.
