Foreign military attaches in Azerbaijan visit Nakhchivan

According to the annual action plan approved by Azerbaijani Defense Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, the foreign military attaches, accredited in the country, have visited Nakhchivan city.

 

The military attaches of 12 countries visited the Military Lyceum named after Heydar Aliyev and a military unit, the defense ministry told APA on June 4.

 

The guests expressed their satisfaction with the combat readiness of the military personnel and their service and living conditions.

 

According to the visit’s program, the military attaches and their family members laid flowers at the monument to Azerbaijan’s national leader Heydar Aliyev erected in the center of Nakhchivan city and visited the museum of the great leader.

 

Then the guests visited Nakhchivan Business Center, Ashabi Kahf cave, Momina Khatun Tomb, Nakhchivan fortress, salt cave and the Tomb of Prophet Noah.

 

The military attaches expressed gratitude to the leadership of the Defense Ministry and Special Forces Army Command for the well-organized visit.
