When requesting a visa, it is necessary to present a ticket for the First European Games or the document confirming the acquisition of a ticket
According to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s order on some measures in connection with holding the First European Games in Baku, dated August 8, 2014, foreigners and stateless persons, permanently residing in foreign countries and have obtained tickets for the First European Games can get a visa in the structural divisions of the Consular Department of Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry located in Azerbaijan’s international airports within 10 days before the opening of the games.
When requesting a visa, it is necessary to present a ticket for the First European Games or the document confirming the acquisition of a ticket. Foreigners and stateless persons permanently residing in foreign countries and have been accredited in the appropriate order and involved in labor activity in Azerbaijan for organizing and holding the First European Games, are not required to get work permit. Finance Ministry and Foreign Ministry were instructed to solve the issues related to arrangement of logistical support to the activities on issuing visas at international airports of Azerbaijan to the persons traveling to the country for the First European Games.
