Azerbaijani Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel General Kemaleddin Heydarov has met with a delegation led by Commander of Turkish War Academies, General Abdullah Recep, the Ministry of Emergency Situtions (MES) said on May 19.
Minister Kemaleddin Heydarov gave general information about the work done for prevention of emergency situations and elimination of their consequences. The minister also spoke about the activities of the Academy of MES established under the order of the Azerbaijani President, emphasizing the importance of deepening cooperation between the Academy and relevant educational institutions of Turkey.
Gen. Abdullah Recep in his turn expressed satisfaction with the current level of cooperation between Turkey’s relevant institutions and Azerbaijani MES, noting the existence of great potential for the training of highly qualified personnel.
Moreover, the sides exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.
