President Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by the Deputy Prime Minister of Turkey

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey Ali Babacan.

 

Deputy Prime Minister Ali Babacan said Turkey was elected to leadership of G-20 and would host all events of this influential organization. He once again invited

 

President Ilham Aliyev on behalf of President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan to participate in these events.

 

Ali Babacan said the presence of fraternal Azerbaijan in G-20 events together with Turkey was of special importance.

 

Ali Babacan also stressed the importance of Baku`s hosting the First European Games, and expressed confidence that the event would be held at the highest level.

 

The head of state hailed Turkey`s heading G-20 as triumph of the fraternal country, saying Azerbaijan was happy for this.

 

President Ilham Aliyev also described this as a manifestation of the leading world countries` high attitude towards Turkey`s role.

 

President Ilham Aliyev once again thanked President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan for his invitation to G-20, and said this was a vivid example of our friendship and fraternity, and the main factor which demonstrates the Turkish-Azerbaijani unity to the world. The head of state said Azerbaijan was preparing to this prestigious event, and stressed the importance of a special meeting on this which was held in Baku. President Ilham Aliyev also praised high-level organization of the events marking the 100th anniversary of Canakkale Victory and highlighted the importance of participation of the heads of state and government of many countries in this event.

 

The parties stressed the successfully developing friendly and fraternal relations between the two countries in all fields, and expressed confidence that these ties would be expanded even further.
