On April 25, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met with his French counterpart Francois Hollande in Baku.
During the meeting, the presidents expressed satisfaction with the current level of bilateral relations, stressing that the recent high-level mutual visits contributed to the development of bilateral relations.
The parties also expressed their interest in further developing the relations and noted the sides have great opportunities for that.
The presidents exchanged views on the negotiations toward a peaceful resolution to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. President Ilham Aliyev expressed satisfaction with the active role of his French counterpart Francois Hollande in the issue of the conflict’s settlement.
Moreover, the parties discussed regional and international issues, as well as the issues of mutual interest.
