Azerbaijani Ambassador to Jordan Sabir Agabeyov has discussed interparliamentary relations as he met the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Jordan Atef Tarawneh.
The Ambassador stressed the role of legislative bodies in strengthening of bilateral relations.
Recalling the Statement on Khojaly tragedy that Jordan Senate adopted in 2013, Mr. Agabeyov expressed his hope on fair assessment by House of Representatives of the tragedy as well.
Mr. Tarawneh praised the bilateral relations between the two countries as high. He stressed the importance of parliamentary speakers’ reciprocal visits to strengthen relations between the legislative bodies of both countries.
