Education Minister Mikayil Jabbarov has signed an order on the implementation the Cabinet of Ministers’ decision “On the amendments to the Model Charter of secondary school in connection with the extension of the school year”, the Ministry of Education told APA.
According to the order, as the school year has already begun and curriculums of educational institutions have been confirmed and implemented, the amendments to the Model Charter of secondary school will be applied from the academic year 2015-2016.
The Ministry of Education of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Baku City Education Department, Ganja City Education Department, district (city) education departments and directors of educational institutions under the Ministry should conduct awareness campaigns to inform teaching staff of secondary schools and parents in this regard.
Preschool and General Education Department (Ahmadov) was instructed to ensure these amendments in the curriculums of secondary schools for the academic year 2015-2016 and Teaching Resources Department (Shahbazli) to take these amendments into account in preparation of textbooks.
Deputy Minister Jeyhun Bayramov was instructed to monitor the execution of the order.
