Azerbaijan’s First Deputy Prime Minister Yagub Eyyubov has met the visiting Korean Prime Minister Jung Hong-won.
The Korean Premier said Azerbaijan`s economic achievements gained over the last 10 years, created assurance to continue steady development.
The sides stressed the dynamically developing political, economical relations between the two countries.
Mr. Eyyubov said Azerbaijan attaches great importance to the cooperation with many world states.
Speaking of Azerbaijan`s economic achievements, the First Deputy Premier noted the progress achieved in the field of eliminating dependence on oil and gas in the country. He also highlighted steadily development of non-oil sector of the economy.
On the importance of further developing relations between the two countries in various fields, Mr. Eyyubov said there was good potential in this regard.
The First Deputy Premier highlighted the reason and consequences of the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Korean Prime Minister Jung Hong-won, in turn, stressed importance of his visit to Baku and highlighted friendly relations between the two countries and nations.
He said Azerbaijan gained dynamical development and strong stability under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev.
The Premier highlighted steadily developing relations between the two countries over the last years, adding there were good opportunities for boosting cooperation in the years ahead.
