Armenia cannot deceive the world by promoting the events of 1915 as “Armenian genocide”, said Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Cemil Cicek, APA reports quoting Anadolu agency.
He mentioned that in recent years Armenians and the Armenian lobby have strengthened efforts to achieve the recognition of the events of 1915 as “Armenian genocide” by parliaments of various countries.
Cicek also added that Ankara stands ready to open its archives for investigation of the 1915 events.
