Azerbaijan will soon start producing three types of ammunitions for grenade throwers.
The new ammunitions were displayed in the stand of the Defense Industry Ministry in ADEX-2014.
Adviser of the Defense Ministry Industry, Azad Mammadov told APA that these cumulative, cumulative-tandem and thermobaric ammunitions are designed for RPG-7 grenade launchers.
“We will soon start a serial production of these ammunitions. A production unit has already been established in this regard,” Mammadov said.
He also said that the ministry has already started producing drum-type hand grenades with Serbian company.
