The agenda of negotiations includes the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will today arrive in Azerbaijan on an official visit.
APA reports quoting RIA Novosti that Lavrov will meet with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov as part of his visit.
It will be the fourth meeting of the Azerbaijani and Russian foreign ministers held in 2014.
Information and Press Department of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told that the sides will discuss the main aspects of the regional and international agenda.
“The discussions will focus on the problem of the Caspian Sea in the context of the preparations for the 4th Caspian Summit to be held in Astrakhan. The agenda of negotiations includes the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict,” said the Russian Foreign Ministry.
