Members of the Azerbaijan-Saudi Arabia interparliamentary working group have met a delegation of the members of the Saudi Arabia-Azerbaijan interparliamentary friendship group to discuss prospects of bilateral cooperation.
Head of the Azerbaijan-Saudi Arabia interparliamentary working group Fattah Heydarov spoke of the historically established relations between the two countries.
He noted that Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia had been cooperated in a variety of fields successfully and the reciprocal visits promoted expansion of these relations.
Fattah Heydarov hailed Saudi Arabia’s support of Azerbaijan’s fair position on the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict at the different international organizations.
Head of the Saudi Arabia-Azerbaijan interparliamentary friendship group Abdullah bin Muhammad al-Nasser highlighted the role of the interparliamentary relations in expanding bilateral ties between the two countries.
Noting the two countries are also bound with common religious roots, Abdullah bin Muhammad al-Nasser said there were strong fraternal and friendly relations between the two people.
He also highlighted the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and said Saudi Arabia always supported the peace and Azerbaijan.
Abdullah bin Muhammad al-Nasser noted Saudi Arabia had condemning Armenia’s bloody terror acts in Azerbaijan.
