The Azerbaijani and Turkish Diaspora organizations will hold an international conference in the European Parliament in October this year, chairman of the Azerbaijani-Belgian Friendship Society Ayhan Demirchi told APA.
He said that the agenda of the conference will include so-called Armenian genocide, the 100th anniversary of which the Armenians are preparing for, and the issue on giving the legal assessment to the Khojaly genocide committed by the Armenians: “The Azerbaijani and Turkish states, MPs from both countries are supporting us in holding the conference, along with our friends in Europe. Parliamentarians, experts and politicians from various countries and Europe will attend the conference.”
Demirchi said that relevant documents will be submitted to the European Parliament and other international organizations at the end of the conference.
