Azerbaijani Parliament Speaker meets delegations of Turkish and Georgian parliamentary committees for international relations

Speaker of Azerbaijan`s Parliament Ogtay Asadov has met delegations of Turkish and Georgian parliamentary committees for international relations.

Ogtay Asadov said this visit was the start of a new tradition.

The Speaker noted the delegations` meetings held in Baku would create legal framework for future cooperation.

He spoke of the deep historical relations among the countries, adding thanks to will of the heads of states cooperation among the three fraternal countries are rapidly developing.

Asadov hailed development of economic bonds among the three countries.

Addressing the event, chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Volkan Bozkir said despite the occupation of the 20 percent of Azerbaijan`s territories, the country has gained great achievements.

Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Georgian Parliament Tedo Japaridze noted Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey had always been and would forever remain good friends and neighbors.

Japaridze noted these meetings would contribute to expanding the cooperation.

They also discussed issues of mutual concern.
