A group of Jordan officials to visit Baku

Jordan Lawyer and human and women’s rights activist Asma Khader, Jordanian Senate chairman Dr Abdul-Raouf Al Rawabdeh, as well as a group of member of the senate will visit Azerbaijan on April 25. The State Committee for Diaspora told APA that the visit aims to attend the 2nd Global Shared Societies Forum.

 

The delegation includes H.E. Prince Hassan bin Talal, head of Jordanian Senate foreign relations commission Nazim Qashou, former deputy Prime Minister of Jordan, member of Jordanian Senate Council, chairman of Jordan-Azerbaijan Friendship Society, member of parliamentary group on friendship with Azerbaijan Marwan Al-Hmoud, former ministers, current senators Mahmoud Alsaqur, Jafar Huneiti, Saleh Rusheydat and others.

 

The 2nd Global Shared Societies Forum, to be held by the Nizami Ganjavi International Center and Club of Madrid under the support of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora on April 27-30, will be attended by 45 former heads of state and government. Generally, more than 150 public and political figures, experts and scientists from 54 countries are expected to participate in the forum.

 

The forum will focus on the education at the UN level, social protection, tasks laying ahead on increase of role of women in the society and ensuring territorial integrity of the countries within the international law.
