It was revealed that a meeting with 41 members of the so -called “sungurs” movement of Nursi religious movement was held, the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry said on April 14.
As a result of the operational measures conducted by the representatives of the Police Department of Yasamal district, it was revealed that a meeting with 41 people (including two children), representing the so-called religious movement “sungurs” was held at Eldaniz Hajiyev’s apartment on 12 H. Mustafayev street.
While searching Hajiyev’s apartment, the banned religious literature, computer equipment, mobile phones, $ 2,200, 286 manat and passports were found and seized.
An investigation is underway.
