Azerbaijani Defense Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov embarked on an official visit to Iran.
APA reports quoting IRNA that the visit takes place at the invitation of the Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan.
Hasanov will discuss the bilateral military cooperation, as well as political, military and regional security issues with his Iranian counterpart during a two-day visit.
Azerbaijani Defense Minister is expected to meet with other Iranian officials.
