The next meeting of the foreign ministers of Turkey, Azerbaijan and Iran will be held in Iran, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said on March 14.
The Turkish foreign minister made the remarks after a ministerial meeting held in the Turkish city of Van.
Davutoglu said the meeting discussed the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, situation in Ukraine and the region as a whole.
The Turkish FM also said that during the meeting the parties discussed the economic and political situation, as well as regional problems.
They also reviewed the situation in the Caucasus and the Middle East.
The issue of Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity and NATO’s activity in the region were also discussed alongside.
The situation in the Ukraine and talks on Iran’s nuclear programme were among the topics under discussion, Davutoglu said.
The previous ministerial meeting in this format was held last year in Nakhchivan.
