Deputy Prime Minister Abid Sharifov has made public results of the meeting with Organizing Committee of “Sovetski” residents at Yasamal District Executive Authority.
APA reports Sharifov said that agreement was reached at the meeting to continue inventory: “Those who agree with compensation of AZN 1,500, can take it and leave”.
He also noted that AZN 400 will be paid to every resident to carry their household things and AZN 1,000 for two-month rent: “Offer on AZN 1,500 for m² remains in force. Those who are dissatisfied with these prices, can stay at home. This is our final decision”.
Sharifov explained reasons of inventory: “We don’t know how many families live there and how much the total area is. If it is taken into account that according to our laws the people can be evacuated only if they agree, those who agree, will take the compensation, those who do not will remain living there. No one will be evacuated forcibly. If they will not be evacuated, there will be no road construction. Inventory will take one or two months. After inventory, we’ll see how many houses should be demolished”.
