Azerbaijan and the European Union will sign readmission agreement on February 28, Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Mahmud Mammedguliyev told APA. He said that the agreement would be signed in Brussels.
Azerbaijan and the EU signed an agreement on visa facilitation in November last year. It will come into force after the readmission agreement is signed. According to the document, Azerbaijan shall readmit its citizens, illegally residing in the EU member states and citizens who were subject to deportation.
