Azerbaijani and Turkish Armed Forces have held “Winter-2014” maneuvers in Akbaba training area in Kars.
The units of both countries conducted joint shooting drills, APA reports quoting the General Staff of Turkish Armed Forces.
The maneuvers aimed at enhancing friendship between the units and staff of Azerbaijani and Turkish Armed Forces, testing combat capabilities of units in snowy and severe cold weather and studying accommodation in winter and food, clothing, supplies, and maintenance activities.
1714 people, including 85 from Azerbaijan participated in the maneuvers.
