Baku City Trade and Services Department has abolished licenses for street trading and mobile points of sale of newspapers and magazines since 1 January 2014.
Baku City Trade and Services Department told APA that this decision was passed to renovate and make Baku one of the most beautiful cities in the world and to set up the most modern newspapers and magazines kiosks meeting international standards in the city.
The Department said that street trading will be prohibited in the city from now on, the sale of newspapers and magazines will be allowed only in the most modern newspapers and magazines kiosks meeting international standards.
