“The Azerbaijani side has not been made a concrete proposal on holding the meeting of Azerbaijani and Armenian parliamentarians,” vice-speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament Bahar Muradova told journalists, APA reports.
He said that time will show whether it is possible to hold this meeting or not: “In any case, if the Armenian leadership doesn’t take steps to advance the process of negotiations, I don’t hope that the parliamentarians’ meeting will produce positive results. But it is better to negotiate than to keep silence. It is necessary to bring closer the parties’ positions and use even the smallest opportunities organizing such meetings.”
