Azerbaijan has become a key country in Bulgaria’s Caucasus policy, said former Bulgarian President Georgi Parvanov addressing the conference on Heydar Aliyev’s 90th jubilee in Sofia, APA reports quoting Bulgarian media.
According to him, Azerbaijan became a key country in Bulgaria’s Caucasus policy, after Heydar Aliyev’s visit to Bulgaria in 1995: “This visit paved the way for establishment of open and useful dialogue. Legal base of bilateral relations was created.”
Parvanov said that the two countries have a great potential for relations: “We can further deepen our relations in the spheres of agriculture, telecommunications and petrochemistry.”
