The visit will last till June 13. Commander-in-Chief of Turkish Gendarmerie, Army General Bekir Kalyoncu has arrived in Azerbaijan.
APA reports that the delegation led by Kalyoncu has today visited the grave of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev at the Alley of Honor, Alley of Martyrs and Turkish Martyrdom Monument. The General laid wreath in front of the Heydar Aliyev’s grave, the Eternal Torch complex at the Alley of Martyrs and the Turkish Martyrdom Monument and wrote his cordial words to the memorial book at the Turkish Martyrdom Monument.
Kalyoncu will meet with Interior Minister, Colonel General Ramil Usubov and Deputy Interior Minister, Commander of the Internal Troops, Lieutenant-General Zakir Hasanov today. Kalyoncu will also meet with Defense Minister, Colonel General Safar Abiyev and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
The visit will last till June 13.
