International Law Organization of Protection of Freedom and Peace (PFP) demands to toughen penalties for crimes against sexual integrity. Chairman of the PFP Matlab Mutallimli appealed on this matter to the Azerbaijani Parliamentary Speaker Ogtay Asadov, the organization told Trend News on Oct.15.

According Mutallimli, recently the number of rapes has increased in Azerbaijan. The penalties are insufficient to avoid such crimes, which are alien to human morality and the national mentality.

Mutallimli proposed for rape, which can have serious consequences (sisters, daughters, mothers), to use chemical injections to stop sexual function of the rapist, either by their personal desire to replace it in a more severe penalty – life imprisonment.

Recently, Turkey adopted an amendment to the law that reflected to use medication to stop sexual function perpetrators of sexual violence against minors.
