The Institute of History of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences will publicize the results of its researches on 26 Baku Commissars in middle of April, director of the institute Yagub Mahmudov told APA.
He said they achieved first successful results of the researches and now were doing serious work toward this. He said it was found out that most of the archive materials about 26 commissars disappeared. “The Armenians have a hand in this and removed the archive materials from the libraries. Mikoyan entangled the works. We could find some of the lost materials and will publicize it in the middle of April”.
Mahmudov said researches for identification of the personalities of the commissars were not completed yet. He said the identification of the bones found in the Sahil (Seaside) Park was very long and expensive process.
